Is Your Marketing Really Working?

Is Your Marketing Really Working?

When people call to schedule an appointment with you, do you know where they’re coming from? Are you even asking that question?

In today’s video, I talk about the ways you can tell if your marketing is really working!

You’re putting money into your marketing, but do you know that it’s working?

You have to have your message. If your message doesn’t resonate with your audience, you’re not going to capture leads.

For instance, your website needs to be about your patient, not yourself. A prospective patient won’t know, like and trust you if the website is all about you. Or maybe your website is all about treating moms over 50, but your social media posts are showing workouts for people under 40. There’s a disconnect there. Your website needs to be about what you can give your specific patients.

Here’s my tip: sign up for your e-book and emails. Take yourself through the patient journey. See it through their eyes. Take that time to double check that everything matches. Does the ad look like the landing page or do they look dissimilar? Do you have a promise in one place and not another?

So, how do you know if your marketing is working?

  • You’re busy.

Self-explanatory. You have patients walking through your door!

  • You don’t have to work very hard at it.

Of course, you have to work hard up front to put together the systems. But after a point, it all works on its own!

  • You’ve got data.

With this new age of marketing, you have data available through Facebook ads for instance. You can also track people who opt-in to your e-book funnel!

  • Patients come in and they already know you.

They are pre-framed to trust you and your skills from what they’ve already seen.

Patients come in and they already know you.

Marketing is a long game. If you want short game strategies, the best are personal relationships. Those move the needle the fastest.

You don’t need to use email marketing, but it works. You don’t need to use Facebook ads, but they work. (I survived and built a very busy practice without Facebook ads!)

Long story short—if I’m sitting there and getting crickets, I’m not going to sit around and wait for the crickets to hop over me. I’m going to get up and fix what broke down. Make sure your systems are running at their best and get to marketing your clinic!
