Aaron LeBauer PT, DPT, LMBT, RYT is the host of The CashPT Lunch Hour Podcast, The CashPT Nation Facebook group and has helped 1000’s of passionate physical therapists create, grow and market successful cash-based physical therapy businesses. He owns LeBauer Physical Therapy in Greensboro, NC which is a 100% cash-based physical therapy practice. He opened his practice right after graduating from Elon University’s doctor of physical therapy program so he could treat patients as unique individuals and without influence by insurance reimbursement.

While still a student at Elon University, he was an invited co-presenter at the 2007 APTA PPS annual meeting in San Diego on the topic of “Alternative Niche Markets: Future Practice Opportunities For PTs.”  He has most recently been a featured speaker at the 2013 Florida Physical Therapists in Private Practice Annual Conference where he presented his practice model, marketing strategies and cash based practice opportunities.

Dr. LeBauer and his wife, Andra, own a holistic physical therapy practice, specializing in myofascial release, manual physical therapy, massage therapy and private yoga instruction.  LeBauer Physical Therapy is a fee-for-service, primary care physical therapy practice, specializing in and treating chronic conditions, pain and injuries which have not responded to traditional treatments and therapies with the goal of helping patients have less pain, move better and feel great. Aaron graduated from Duke University in 1996 with a B.A. in History and moved to San Francisco where he studied Massage Therapy and Health Education at the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA.

In 2000 he attended his first myofascial release seminar and began using the techniques immediately in his practice to help his clients achieve significant results.  Since this time he has continued his study of fascia, has specialized in Myofascial Release and is an instructor with the John F. Barnes MFR Seminars.  To further his education and strengthen his knowledge of the human body, he returned to school and in 2008 graduated from Elon University as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.  Prior to receiving his physical therapy degree, Aaron was published as co-author with two of his classmates and served as the treating therapist of a clinical case study, The effect of myofascial release (MFR) on an adult with idiopathic scoliosis.

Aaron enjoys riding one of his vintage Vespa and Lambretta scooters or his bicycle to work.  He has raced bicycles since high school and as a category 1 amateur all over the United States.  He was based out of Northern California and North Carolina and spent a very memorable summer racing in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.  He enjoys working in his garden and has an edible landscape including pears, apples, scuppernongs (muscadine grapes), raspberries, blueberries, figs, various seasonal vegetables and shiitake mushrooms.  He has two beautiful daughters and an amazing wife who is also a Massage Therapist and Yoga teacher.
