Are You Entrepreneur Material?

Are you entreprenur material?

Here’s the truth: Not everyone is meant to be an entrepreneur and not everyone is meant to own their own business.

In today’s video, I explain what I mean by that!

How can you tell if the entrepreneur life is right for you? Well, you need to know what you want in life. You need to know yourself. For instance, are you good at being micromanaged? I don’t thrive working for someone else, so that’s why I’m an entrepreneur.

Entrepreneurship is something that can free you from a bunch of stuff, like having a great idea and feeling like your boss won’t implement it.

Most people don’t succeed the first time. I can tell you, I opened my business four times before it became very successful.

You’ve got to be in touch with your passion about why you want to do this. You need to know this is the life you want. You have to go for it and persist. Persistence is the number one thing. It means you take action. On what, you ask?

Well, you have to have a plan. This does not necessarily have to be a business plan, but it can be a general marketing plan, or an idea of how your business is going to make money. For instance, you can decide what you are going to charge!

What’s the number one thing that you need before you get started? In my opinion, it’s a mentor or coach that has already done it. It’s going to help you avoid the mistakes I’ve made.

In order to be successful in anything, you’ve got to persist. You went to PT school. You paid tens of thousands of dollars. You studied every night. You passed the tests you needed to pass. You wouldn’t be here if you didn’t do all that. You persisted through all that, so why shouldn’t you be able to persist through entrepreneurship?
