Are you Making it Easy?

You can easily lose money if you make it hard for your customers to do business with you.

I want to share a story with you.
I was visiting Denver and wanted to get in a Baptista Power Yoga session, so I did a quick google search and see there is a studio with a class that works for my schedule. I signed up for the class online. But when I arrived five minutes early, the door is locked! A woman came to the door and told me there isn’t a class for another hour. I asked her how that was possible because I signed up online! She proceeds to tell me that I must have signed up for the class at the Houston location. Yeah, she meant Houston, TEXAS!
The problem was they have ONE website for THREE locations in two different cities that are nowhere near each other! Had they done something as simple as creating different landing pages for the different locations, I could have made an earlier class. But now I was out of luck.
I decided to search for Cross Fit nearby and find a location with a 6pm class that I could make if I hurried. When I got there, the coach approached and told me it was $25 for a drop-in class or I could buy a tee-shirt.
This is how the Cross Fit gym was successful, they had a clear schedule on their website, and, while the first class isn’t free, you get the option of buying a nice, comfy tee-shirt (great marketing!)
I walked out of there with some branding and they’re making it easy for me to do business with them. Because I had a good experience, I will tell the world about their business!
If someone comes to your website and they can’t find your phone number and email address, if you have inaccurate information on your websites stop and consider the hurdles you are creating for your potential customers.
I have experienced this as a consumer plenty of times. Haven’t you felt like this before when you go somewhere with the intention of buying something only show up and no one offers assistance?

My point is you need to make it easy!

When people show interest you should make it easy for them to do business with you. Period.
