Face Your Fears Head On

Being vulnerable means you’re willing to share your fears and doubts with people who are close to you so you can unlock your potential and help others.

Today, I wanted to touch on why it’s so important to face your fears head on.

It’s been an absolutely crazy year, right? Millions are scared and giving up. And if you’re not scared, you’re lying to yourself. We’re all scared. Uncertainty is scary!

But are you going to let that fear keep you from helping others?

The most powerful person in the room is the one with nothing to hide. Hiding things from others, including your fears and doubts, won’t do you any good. After all, Eminem won the rap battle in 8 Mile by airing out all his dirty laundry. He shared everything that would have been the other guy’s ammunition.

Basically, being vulnerable unlocks your potential.

We can’t control the world around us, but we can control our thoughts, actions, the story in our heads, the things we’re willing to do about it, and the people we surround ourselves with. And if we’re not surrounding ourselves with people who share, who are willing to tell the truth, then what’s the point?

Yes, my businesses have struggled during this time. The clinic isn’t doing exactly what I want it to do, and while the coaching business is up, it’s still getting punched in the face. The difference between myself and others is that I will tell it like it is. I’ll tell you these things, because I keep fighting. My Mastermind members keep fighting. And we will be okay, because we know how to take the bull by the horns. We didn’t stop when the pandemic hit, and we won’t stop now.

Will you?
