I can say with almost 100%certainty that I will never sell or close my cash-based physical therapy practice! And neither should you!
Let me tell you why.
It provides me SO MUCH! Health insurance, disability insurance, 401k options, and the chance to provide jobs for other people!
Even if I were to move to a different state, I would still keep my ownership in the practice.
if you’re thinking about closing down your practice because you don’t have enough time, want to move to another state, focus on another business, etc here’s what you should do
There were plenty of times in the last few years I just thought, “fuck it”
It’s a hassle, a drain, I can be more productive helping people away from my clinic
Why would I never close my practice, here’s what I did instead:
People in Greensboro need the service we have to offer
People would never believe in me
We can try out new strategies, systems and products before you waste your time and teach you exactly what works
Now I:
-I meet with my team 2 hours a week
-I run email campaigns, greet patients, respond to occasional emails
-Application Funnel
-Automate – systems, emails, on boarding, referrals, etc
-Hire
-Train
-Delegate
-Trust my people and my processes!
