Quick Tip: Basic SEO for Your Website URL

SEO for Cash Pay Physical Therapy Practice

Have you done a Google search for your own website lately?

If you do not show up on the 1st page or when people search for your name, do you know how potential patients are going to find you?

Open Google and search for these terms:

your name”

your business name

If you can find yourself, awesome! If not, you have some work to do.

Next search for “Physical Therapy in Your Town” and “Physical Therapist in Your Town”

Then try “Back Pain in Your Town” and “your specialty in Your Town”

If you can find your practice at the top for these, then you are a rock star.  If not, there are some easy steps you can take to improve your listings and search ranking.

Why is this important?  The internet is ripe with patients who are searching for information about their condition and for providers to treat their problems.  I have had all of my new patients in the past week find about about me online.  People are looking for YOU! If they can not find you, then you are missing out on an easy stream of new patients.

If your website is brand new, make sure the first thing you do is submit your url, which is your website address mine is www.LeBauerConsulting.com to Google, Yahoo and Bing.  You should be able to find out how to do this by using a google search to take you to the correct page.  Start here and Click -> “submit url google” and “submit url to bing

The other thing you want to do is get your website address listed in as many places as you can including all of your social media sites (watch my video here) and industry specific directories and local search directories.  A great place to start is GetListed.org <- Click!  This site will show you were your business is listed (or not!) and give you a good idea about what you need to do to claim existing listing and create new ones.  Important: Make sure all of your business details are exactly the same!

Once you conquer these tasks, head over and check out my Dominate the 1st Page of Google ebook for more advance Google search techniques.
