The Secret to Selling Physical Therapy

Today, I’m going to talk about something most physical therapists struggle with: SALES.

Right now, more than ever, you need to learn how to sell. If it wasn’t for Covid, I’m sure you’d have many more people calling you. Which makes it all the more important to sell those who do!

The best way to sell is to not sell anything—it’s to ask questions!

I know, sounds crazy. But you have to find out your potential patient’s “why.” What are they really afraid of? What do they really want? Maybe they want to be able to run again so they can feel confident about their body. Yes, you can get them back to running, but that’s not what they want. Their end goal is confidence, so sell them that.

Sales is just a process to find out exactly what your patients and clients truly want. The beauty of being in the cash model is that you have the time to spend with them to figure it out.

If you know that you can solve your patient’s problem, it’s your ethical obligation to make them an offer to work with you.

On top of that, it’s extremely important to not shortchange yourself. You are giving people a life-changing transformation, and that’s worth more than $100 a visit.

Here’s what I want you to do right now:
