Still putting in the effort to grow someone else’s business without getting anything in return?
In today’s new post, we talk about working for other people.
If you’re still working for someone else, you have two options:
- Talk to your boss about the amount of work you’re doing and let them know you’d like to get something in return. Maybe that’s a percentage of the business or a percentage of everything you bring in, etc.
As a physical therapist, you have to show value. Unfortunately, a lot of bosses—the ones who don’t have a business sense—won’t see that value. And you’re stuck doing all the marketing and outreach, putting in time and effort, but only making $40 an hour. Maybe you’re only making $80,000 a year and you’ve got $100,000 or more in student loans.
Just imagine: If you owned your own business, in one week, you could make what you make in one month’s salary! Which leads me to #2…
- Take a leap of faith. Sometimes, you just have to do it yourself. This doesn’t mean you have to build everything from scratch though! You can take the recipe from someone like me and plug in all your specifics.
Here are the questions I want to know:
Why are you still waiting? What are you waiting for?
Yes, I know we’re still in a pandemic. But people out there are crushing it. There are some having record years! These people are ready to take action and know what they want when they see it. Are you like that, or are you waiting for permission?
I’m going to give you permission right now to go after your dreams. Go with someone who has been there, who can take you on the journey, so you don’t make the same mistakes I did.
Building a business is about becoming the boss of your own life. It’s having time to spend with your family, go on dates, work out, whatever it is. And if you want to make money at the same time as you do all those things, we might be a great fit to work together.
DM me “All in!” so I can send you some details on what that may look like.
