You can easily lose money if you make it hard for your customers to do business with you.

In this video I filmed while visiting Denver, I tell a little story demonstrating why this is so important!

While in Denver visiting my brother, I wanted to find a Baptiste yoga studio. I went to Google maps and found a place called Big Power Yoga. I go to “classes” on their website and sign up for the one at 5:30 a.m.

When I finally showed up to the studio after horrible traffic and parking, the door was locked. A woman was there so I explained I had signed up for the 5:30 a.m. class. She informed me that there wasn’t a class at that time, and that maybe I had signed up for the one in Houston. Yes, Houston, Texas!

Obviously, that was a problem. I realized this place had three locations and only one website for all three. It was an easy mistake to make for anyone new to the area or visiting.

I ended up going to a CrossFit gym nearby, and it was super easy as a first-time visitor. They said I could pay the class fee or simply buy a shirt. Of course, I chose the shirt. They made it easy for me and now have free branding in this video and on my social media!

That’s the lesson for today: make it easy for the buyer. I wanted to give the yoga studio my money, but they made it way more complicated than it needed to be. People want to pay you for how much value you provide them, so make it easy!
