You Can Earn Six Figures in Your Cash-Based Practice!

You paid six figures to get your doctor or physical therapy degree, why aren't you generating six figures a year?

If you’re not earning six figures in your physical therapy practice or you’re not generating six figures in your cash practice, there’s a problem. You don’t need to see 30 people a week to get to six figures, you just need two handfuls.

Say if you’re charging $185 an hour, that’s 11 people a week, right? If you’re charging $247, that is eight and a half patients a week to generate six figures. It certainly can be done!

Why do people struggle generating six figures?

They are afraid to charge what they’re worth.

It was ingrained to us by our educational system, by our job, that we are worth no more than a co-pay and what we perceive patients will pay for physical therapy. But here’s the thing: we don’t sell physical therapy anymore, we sell transformation.

They are afraid to sell.

They think it’s sleazy to sell physical therapy to patients. A lot of people feel like their rates are already high, or they say to themselves, “I just raised my rates; I can’t raise them again.” But in reality, you don’t need to tell your old patients you raised the rate–every new patient just gets the new rate and they never know the difference!

They don’t have celebrity status or a robust marketing system.

This is where I can come in. Maybe you don’t have a marketing system in place, but we can fix that. It’s a system that you set up once, maybe refine it once or twice, and it continues to run to generate new patients. And there’s a system to take people from calling you to becoming a patient and there’s a system to raising your rates.

Your rates are what people are willing to pay

Where’s the problem?

The problem can be a lot of different places. It could be with your business, with your systems. It could be in your head.

So I think that the big problem behind this is the question of valuing ourselves. You paid six figures to get your doctor or physical therapy degree, so why aren’t you generating six figures a year? Well, either you’re working for someone else and they’re basing your income on reimbursement, or you’re working for yourself and you’ve created a job and you haven’t generated a business.

That being said, even with a job you should generate six figures based on the figures I shared with you earlier.

It is something as simple as valuing what you provide to your patients

Does your dentist justify their pay? No? So why should you?

What does your dentist charge you? What does your lawyer charge you?

Your dentist doesn’t justify why they are charging you hundreds of dollars to fill cavities. So why should you have to justify the price you charge for the life-changing transformation you can give patients?

It is something as simple as valuing what you provide to your patients, asking for fair compensation for your time, and seeing at least eight and half patients a week. It’s not that difficult. 20 patients a week, 25 patients a week. It’s a little bit harder, but it’s not that difficult if you have the right systems.

If you’re struggling with any of this stuff, send me a direct message so we can get on and figure out exactly where the problem is.
